Under general supervision, oversees the production control floor processes during the designated shift which includes maintaining the overall production control processes plus daily job assignments. Directs Team Leaders and other Team Members in assigned production control areas in the execution of the group’s responsibilities. Manages group (receiving, stores, material handling, etc.) as an operational unit and responsible to accomplish company goals and targets in accordance with all company policies, manufacturing standards and methods, and process standards for safety, product quality, customer satisfaction, accuracy, productivity, cost reduction, housekeeping, efficiency,...
Responsible for assisting with all functions of the Production Control department. Support activities related to production scheduling, part forecasting, kanban inventory management system, and planning. Direct responsibilities include weekly parts order, cycle counts, support creation of weekly freight delivery schedules, part expediting/delivery and support the creation of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and keying of Daily Scrap tags (as needed).
Directs Team Leaders and other Team Members in assigned manufacturing area(s) in the execution of the group’s responsibilities. Support the manufacturing areas and maintain the overall Toyota Production System with a focus on minimizing down time, increasing productivity, and coordinating preventative maintenance activities. Manages group as an operational unit and responsible to accomplish company goals and targets in accordance with all company policies, maintenance standards and methods, and standards for safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, housekeeping, efficiency, training, teamwork, and morale.
Provide technical and mechanical support for the facility and to maintain the equipment to allow minimal downtime.
PAY RANGE: $27.70 - $37.80 based on experience (plus $1.50 shift differential)
