Overview

2ND SHIFT POSITION (6:30pm to 3:45am with Overtime)

Pay Range: $21.90 to $26.80 based on experience (plus $1.50 shift differential)

 

Duties include speaking with department leadership to determine training needs, implementing training programs, reviewing data for trainees to determine their skills.

Responsibilities

 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Create training schedules, track and create reports on the outcome of all training and maintain training records for the company.
  2. Train new hires in standard work and procedures.
  3. Communicate with Group Leads on focus areas for training and placement.
  4. Update training matrix for trainees.
  5. Create and update WIS for TBAKI processes.
  6. Identify training skills that need to be addressed.
  7. Audit trainees after training to verify standard work, cycle time and quality.

Technical:

  1. Ability to work as a team;
  2. Exceptional oral and written communication;
  3. Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks;
  4. Attention to detail;
  5. Familiar with learning of WIS, WPS, Training Tracking system;
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.;

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED required

 

Experience:

  • Experience with hand tools
  • B skill level Team Member (must know certain amount of process)

 

Personal/Technical Skills:

  • Self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Flexibility in a changing environment
  • Mandatory overtime flexibility

 

Language Skills: English, both written and verbal

 

Computer/Software: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.

 

Work Environment/Conditions:

  • Plant: Automotive manufacturing plant
  • Travel: 0-10%

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear.  The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
